The Alabama Life Research Institute will host a series of brown bags, workshops and community conversations throughout the Fall 2026 semester, bringing together researchers and community partners around topics including community-engaged research, implementation science, team science, workforce development and student research.
Events will be held at noon in NEMB. Attendees are welcome to bring lunch; ALRI will provide cookies and drinks.

Designed to be more than traditional seminars, these gatherings provide opportunities to learn from colleagues, connect across disciplines, engage with community partners and explore ways ALRI can help advance research.
Faculty, staff, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to participate throughout the semester.
