ALRI brings together interdisciplinary research expertise across The University of Alabama, including research centers within the institute and affiliated centers whose work complements ALRI’s mission.
Center for Convergent Bioscience & Medicine
The Center for Convergent Bioscience & Medicine is a research center within the Alabama Life Research Institute focused on advancing discoveries in drug development and delivery. The center brings together researchers from multiple disciplines to develop new therapeutic approaches, with particular expertise in immuno-inflammatory diseases.
Affiliated Centers
ALRI also works with research centers and facilities across the University whose expertise contributes to interdisciplinary research on human health and well-being. These centers are independently administered by their respective colleges and units.
